As promised, continues the story of the preparations for my marriage, and continue to pass the days ... We are now less than 13 ...
After the civil ceremony to be held in a beautiful room of the Male Anjou, one of the beautiful castles of Naples, not by choice but because that is where the civil rites celebrated in my city, we will make a small little party in a villa rented by a panoramic view of Naples Private.
This seems so simple and the most obvious thing in the world, but the choice of location was very busy. Not for special needs or requests, but only because, as in Naples (and not only ...) organizing a wedding is the biggest deal there is, no one wanted to rent them a place, of any kind or species, without requiring bought what I call the "complete wedding package" , or an all inclusive which typically includes room, catering, decorations and ornaments, soft drinks, wine, sparkling wine, wedding cake and so on and so forth, the modest minimum figure of € 100 to invited ... That doing the math (which at this point I do ... no one in Naples) means a lot of money!
Our idea was now to try a place that could accommodate about seventy people, standing up to organize a small buffet of good luck and spend some time with the guests, avoiding those that are eternal lunches so popular with our parties.
We therefore limited to close relatives, ie, uncles and cousins \u200b\u200bwith their families, and a few close friends, staying on the chart below 80. The minimum possible if we do not want to displease anyone, without going beyond and be forced to organize a party at large, as usually happens! After searches
intense and frequent quarrels with the organizers and owners of restaurants and lounges, we came across a pair of Neapolitan retired, friendly and helpful, who recently renovated the property where they reside in a villa style liberty early twentieth century. The villa was just lovely, with that something of "experienced", only one inhabited house really has to offer, is located in a scenic area of \u200b\u200bNaples, on the slopes of the Vomero. That part of villa available to us will be the representative, a splendid panoramic lounge overlooking the bay of Naples, the adjacent rooms, garden with gazebo (cold and rain permitting), several corridors, a room that will be used as a wardrobe, a room to lock up children with entertainment, kitchen and two bathrooms, one master and that of service.
These spaces are furnished with style, offering an intimate, family-like atmosphere that seemed perfectly in line with our idea of \u200b\u200ba small party in a few lucky (so to speak .. pochi. ...)!
Rounding out the family picture, a young chef with his staff, will cook for us on the spot, offering the taste of food choices within the bell culinary tradition, but served and combined in an innovative and original. No buffet with throngs of people attached, no table set with the usual serving waiter, only people who move freely and enjoy the space, the landscape and the company, enjoying tasty treats offered directly from the tray by waiters in small saucers and fun portion. Chairs, tables and coffee tables, armchairs and sofas will be available for these moments of fatigue, for the most advanced age and those who prefer to stay seated and enjoy the food offered in the traditional way! For drinks there will be a self-service buffet is divided into three locations, strategically positioned inside the main hall.
The classic moment of the wedding cake will not fail, but the cake will not be the usual multi-tier white cake ... We stopped on the ground floor, a ground floor but really tasty! All
last few hours and, hopefully, will satisfy both those who hate the long and endless entertainment with the usual stuffs himself with anti, who is on these occasions is expected instead to enjoy plenty of food and good wine. But most of all married couples who wished to settle for a small party only for the happiness of their parents and to maintain a memory of this moment, without sending crazy and figures without having to invest years of their lives in organizing this event.
Needless to say, the choices that I have briefly described costs were incurred really paltry when compared with the demands of the structures that operate in the world of wedding receptions.
So here's the second rule for a marriage alternative (and Economic ...): never buy hexose all inclusive. Arrange pieces for his party by simple choices in accordance with your taste. Of course it will take a little more effort and commitment, but the result will be cheaper and certainly more original!
